How does the Scavenger Hunt work?

You will receive The Picture Clues. Using the clues, walk the Proctor District to find the items (using the clues!). When an item is discovered, write down its location so we know your found it. Then, send in your answers by August 31, 2022 and you will be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing!

How do I get the "List of Items" ?

Everyone who registers will be sent The Picture Clues by email. Click the button below to have the clues sent to you!

Is there a cost to participate?

It's entirely free!

Is this for kids or adults?

Both! If you like a mental & visual challenge all happening outdoors, this event is for you!

Anything to be aware of?

Yes. When looking at the front yards of homes, please stay on the sidewalk. We don't want to scare the owners by walking on their yards .smile. Front yard items will be fully visible from the sidewalk.

How long will the Scavenger Hunt take to complete?

It all depends on how fast you walk. Plan on 1-2 hours. You can always spread it out over a couple of visits.

You're coming to the Proctor District, so you can do the Scavenger Hunt for an hour, get a bite to eat or a drink, then finish up the Scavenger Hunt. It can be a fun outing for yourself, your family, couples or a date!

What is the purpose of the Scavenger Hunt?

For something fun to do! Challenge your sight & senses, be outside in the sunshine and engage your Detective muscles...use The Picture Clues to find the items!

How do I win?

When you have located all of the items, send back your list (with locations). Take a photo or scan it, then email it back. Names will be randomly selected from all those who successfully complete it.

They are Prize Baskets containing gift certificates and goodies donated by the event's generous local stores in the Proctor District. Each of the three Winners will receive a Prize Basket.

What are the dates?

The Scavenger Hunt starts on July 1, 2022. Participants will have 2 months (July & August 2022) to find the "hidden" items!

Who is putting on this event?

"Homes By Andrea" is putting on this event! The person behind it is Andrea Martin with RE/MAX Northwest in Tacoma. She hopes to meet people and spread the word of her real estate services by putting on fun events for the people and neighborhoods that she serves.
